Gaumaya Gurung

Gaumaya Gurung, is an actor and alumnus of the prestigious Berlinale Talents (2024). She is known for her roles in the commercially acclaimed "Kabaddi 4: The Final Match (2022)", "Fulbari (2023)" and the Nepal National Film Awards winning "1915: Legend of Gurkhas (2022)". She was also nominated for the 'Best Debut Actress' by Nepal Film Technicians Association (NEFTA) in 2023. 
Gaumaya's other notable works include BBC's Drama mini series "Black Narcissus (2020)" - Winner of the ReFrame Stamp, IMDbPro Top 200 Most Popular TV Titles in 2020-2021.
Her upcoming feature films include "The Sky is Mine (2024)“, by Deepak Rauniyar, recipient of Berlinale VFF Talent Highlights Award in 2020, "Just like a Son (2024)", by Award Winning Filmmaker (Fajr International Film Festival, 2020) and Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI) alumni, Tribeny Rai and "Maha Jatra (2024)", the third sequel to the commercially successful film "Jatra (2016)".
